INTER-COUNTY HURLERS: Congratulations to the Limerick hurlers, who secured a resounding victory over Tipperary in the Munster Championship. Well done to Cian, Diarmaid, Aaron and Jason. Good luck against Cork in the next fixture.

SENIOR HURLERS: Patrickswell won their first league match of the campaign with a comfortable away win over Kildimo-Pallaskenry. The opening quarter was low scoring as the ‘Well built a 0-4 to 0-2 lead (Jack Kelleher 0-2, Patrick Kirby and Kevin O’Brien). However Ciaran Carey’s men opened the throttle and notched another goal and ten points by half-time (Kevin O’Brien goal, Jack Kelleher 0-6, Evan Fitzgerald, Patrick Kirby, Thomas O’Brien and Gavin Carey). The interval score was 1-14 to 0-7.

Mark Carmody, Cian Gorman, Patrick Kirby and Evan Fitzgerald cemented a 1-18 to 0-9 lead by the 40th minute before a string of five consecutive points opened an unassailable 17-point gap by the 50th minute (Sean Fitzgerald 0-2, Mark Carmody, Evan Fitzgerald and Patrick Kirby). In the closing stages, goalkeeper Jason Gillane struck a long range point to embellish a 1-27 to 0-11 victory.

CLUB LOTTO: The Club Lotto draw on Monday April 22 was not won. The numbers drawn were 10, 12, 15 and 18. The bonus number was 31. The €50 Lucky Dips were won by Christine Hennessy and Triona & John, while the €20 prizes were claimed by PJ & Aoibhin O’Grady, Des O’Connor, Amy O’Donnell, Colin Gavin, Betty Cronin and Wayne Anderson. This week’s jackpot is €10,000.

CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The club were delighted when Arthur Lynch scooped the €10,000 jackpot in April’s draw. In addition, Gerard McNamara won €300 and Paddy Flynn earned €200.
