  • Patrickswell GAA Club are hosting a Golf Classic at Adare Manor GC on Friday, June 30. Teams of Four cost €200 with a dinner included. There will be lots of great prizes for the winning team, hole-in-one, nearest to pin, longest drive, etc. The event sponsor is Fitzgerald Electrical.

  • The Senior Hurlers begin their defence of the Daly Cup with a tough opening match against neighbours Adare on Sunday, May 7 at 4.45pm in Kilmallock.
    Please make a big effort to support the players in this critical fixture.

  • Training begins for the Patrickswell N'Sync (lip sync competition) on Wednesday, 3rd May at 7pm in the Cú Chulainn lounge.
    This event will be great fun and we are inviting new contestants to sign up.

  • The Patrickswell N’Sync choreographer will attend the clubhouse at 9pm on Wednesday April 26 at 9pm to meet with the contestants. It is very important for people to attend. We also require volunteers to help with sponsorship, advertising, raffle, etc.

  • A Clothing Collection in aid of Patrickswell Camogie Club will take place Saturday April 22.
    Drop-off times for the Clothes Collection are Friday April 21 from 7.30pm to 9:00pm at the Clubhouse, with a final collection on Saturday April 22 between 9.30am and 11am at the Clubhouse.

  • We are seeking fresh talent for Patrickswell N'Sync: Battle of the Sexes. This lip sync contest is our summer fundraiser and promises to be a great evening so please play your part by getting involved.

  • Please lend a hand to spruce up the clubhouse on Good Friday, 14th April at 10am as part of the TLC (Team Limerick Cleanup) initiative.

  • Check out "Seo Spoirt" on TG4 this Friday night, 14th April at 8.30pm for coverage of Patrickswell's "Trasnan" challenge (taped two weeks ago).

  • The Club will host an Information Night on Tuesday April 4 at 9pm in the clubhouse to introduce participants and volunteers to "Patrickswell N'Sync: Battle of the Sexes". We are now seeking acts to participate in this great event. Please come along and bring your friends.

  • Congratulations to Patrickswell National School, who scooped first prize in both the Figure Dancing and Set Dancing at County Scór na bPáistí.

  • Underage training returns on Friday March 31 from 6.30pm - 7.30pm for U6's & U8's boys & girls and U10 boys.  U10 girls will return on Friday April 7.

  • Congratulations to Paudie Maher and Hospital's John The Baptist Community School, who were crowned All Ireland Post Primary School Senior B Hurling champions in Semple Stadium.

  • On Saturday March 25th, the Juvenile and Camogie clubs are hosting a Fun Day for boys and girls aged between 5 and 10 years old. The day is free and runs from 1.30pm to 3pm. The children will get the chance to train with our County Champions and Camogie stars.

  • The Camogie Club will have a Church Gate collection on the weekend of March 11 and 12. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

  • Over the coming weeks, we will commence selling subscriptions for the Club Limerick Draw (previously Mackey Development Draw). This is a great fundraiser for the club and Patrickswell can retain > 50% of the sales.
    There's a guaranteed prize fund of €337,000, supporting Limerick Schools, Bord Na nÓg, Green & White Magazine and underage teams. Join online at Limerickgaa.ie or contact any of your Club Members. People who have already bought season tickets can get into the draw for €80, instead of €100 per annum. There are ten monthly draws from March to December.

  • A Club Membership Clinic will be held in the clubhouse on Friday, 24th February between 7pm and 9pm.
    All players must be registered members to represent the club. Please sign up as soon as possible.

  • Please keep a date free in your diaries-on Saturday, 4th February, Patrickswell GAA Club will host an event to celebrate the Senior Hurling Championship triumph of 2016, the groundbreaking teams of 1965 & 1966 and the Minor Camogie Champions 2015.
    The venue is the Woodlands Hotel and tickets are €40 for a superb four course meal. Music is by Free Beer and our special guest is Patrick O'Donovan, TD, Junior Minister for Sport.

  • Patrickswell Camogie AGM will take place on Tuesday, 24th January at 8pm in the clubhouse. All are welcome.

  • The draw for the 2017 County Senior Hurling Championship has taken place. Patrickswell have been drawn in Group 2 with Adare, Cappamore, Knockainey, Monaleen and Na Piarsaigh.

2016:

  • The Mass for deceased members of Patrickswell GAA Club takes place on Sunday December 18 at 11.30am.

  • The Club AGM has been scheduled for Tuesday December 13 at 8pm in the Clubhouse.

  • Congrats to our set dancers who won were victorious in the County Scór na nÓg final & progress to the Munster semi-final in Cashel on 11th December.

  • The club's Golf Classic will take place on Friday, 27th May in the verdant surroundings of Adare Manor Golf Club. Teams of four players can register for €200 per team. The fee includes a full meal. The prize for the winning team is a television each (or similar). Tee boxes can be sponsored for €50 each. If you would like to enter a team for the Classic or sponsor a tee box, please contact Kieran Carroll, Kieran Darcy or any committee member.   • 9/4/16 - The GAA pitch is currently closed due to the inclement weather.

  • A Club Registration/Membership clinic will be held in the clubhouse on Friday, 25th March from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. Members must register for voting rights and players cannot play if not registered.

  • In the coming weeks, we will be launching the Club Limerick Draw. It's €10 per draw or €100 for the entire 10 months. There's a guaranteed Monthly Lotto Jackpot of €10,000 & the total prize fund is in excess of €360,000. The Club Limerick Draw guarantees at least 50% funding to Patrickswell GAA.   • Congratulations to the Patrickswell Senior Set Dancers, who triumphed at the County Final in Askeaton. The team will represent Limerick in the Munster Final on March 5 at 6 p.m. in Ovens (County Cork).

    The U-21 Hurling Management are John Tuohy and Anthony Carmody, while the Junior A Hurling Management are Dessie Foley, Lar Considine and Tom O'Brien.

  • The Jason Griffin Memorial Trust are organising a fundraising 50km cycle or 5km Run/Walk for Sunday November 29. The cycle commences at 10am after registration between 8.30am and 9.30am. The Run/Walk commences at 12.30pm after registration between 11am and noon.
    Please support this extremely worthwhile cause.

  • Congratulations to the Limerick U21 hurlers captained by our own Diarmaid Byrnes who were crowned All-Ireland U-21 A champions after defeating Wexford on a scoreline of 0-26 to 1-07.

  • Patrickswell GAA Club and the Community Council are organising the Jackie Houlihan Memorial Race on Saturday September 19 starting at the racecourse. The Under 16 race (3,000 metres) starts at 12.15pm and costs €5. The adult race (8,000 metres) commences at 1.00pm and costs a bargain €10. Please register online at www.eventmaster.ie

  • The U10 boys played Kildimo last Friday. They played very well and are back training this coming Friday the 4th of September.

  • Our Senior hurlers face Kilmallock in their final group match of the Championship on Sunday, August 30th at 1 pm in Bruff.
    This is the biggest match of the club's season so far. Please travel to Bruff to support the team.

  • Kelloggs Cul Camps can be booked online at http://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. Patrickswell's Cul Camp is on August 17 to 21. The cost for the first child is €55.00. The 2nd child is €45.00 and 3rd/4th child is €40.00.

  • Seanie O'Brien and Cian Lynch are running a hurling and camogie camp for 5-16 year olds in the field from Monday 13 July to Friday 17 July (10am to 2pm). There will be a separate academy group for 13-16 year olds to include coaching & advice on lifestyle choices, diet, conditioning and match preparation.

  • The Liam Fenton Memorial 5k Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, 31st May at 1pm. Registration occurs in the Cu Chulainn Bar from noon on Sunday and this will be the start point of the race.

  • The Senior hurlers face Ballybrown on Saturday, 10th March at 4pm in the second semi-final of the Michael O’Brien Memorial Tournament at Pairc Antoin O’Briain. The winner will face Sixmilebridge in the tournament final on Monday, 19th March at 12 noon.

  • Congratulations to club participants in the County Scor Final which took place on Friday, 2nd March. The Well won joint overall club of the year and were victorious in the figure dancing.
    The Munster semi-final takes place in Askeaton on Sunday, 11th March at 2.30 p.m.

  • In the first semi-final of the Michael O'Brien Senior Hurling Tournament, Croom will face Sixmilebridge on Sunday 26th February at 4pm. The second semi-final between Patrickswell and holders Ballybrown takes place on Saturday 10th March.

  • The club will hold a Church Gate Collection to raise funds on 11th and 12th February 2012. Your generosity is much appreciated.

  • Adult set dancing classes start on Tuesday, 17th January in the club house from 9 to 10 p.m. All are welcome to come along.

  • Anyone interested in participating in Senior Scor is welcome to come along to a meeting in the clubhouse on Monday, 23rd January at 9 p.m. Events include music, singing, dancing, acting, poetry and question time.

  • Membership for 2012 can be paid in the clubhouse on Thursday evening, 19th January from 7 to 9 p.m. Rates are €15 for a juvenile/student, €30 for an adult and €70 for a family.

  • The Juvenile Club A.G.M. will be held on Wednesday, 11th January at 9 p.m. in the clubhouse. All are welcome to attend.

  • Best of luck to our Junior Set Dancing team who are representing Limerick in the Scor na nÓg Munster semi final in Askeaton on Sunday, 8th January.  Please come along and support our young competitors.

  • Congratulations to the Set Dancing team who are County Scor na nÓg champions after capturing the title at the county final in Askeaton on 16/12/11.

  • Volunteers are needed for a bag-packing afternoon at Tesco, Crescent Shopping Centre from 1pm to 5pm on Tuesday 20th December.

  • The Scor na nÓg county final takes place on Friday, 16th December at 7.30pm in Askeaton Hall. Please come along and support our young competitors.

  • The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 7th December 2011 at 8pm in the clubhouse, followed by the Club Person of the Year announcement in the Cu Chulainn afterwards.

  • Congratulations to Club Vice President, Gerry Bennis who is being recognised by the Munster GAA Council for his years of loyal service to the GAA. A function will take place in Killarney on 3rd December to mark the occasion.

  • The club again struck gold in the Limerick Development (Mackey) Draw as Pat and Mary Punch won the top prize of €18,000 in the November draw. Congratulations to Pat and Mary and to the promoter, Donie O'Gorman.

  • A performance of acclaimed play "The Pitch" will be held at the clubhouse on Thursday, 24th November. The play stars RTE Best Actor 2010, Seamus O'Rourke and tickets cost €10.

  • The local Scor na nÓg final is on Sunday 6th November at 3.30 pm in the clubhouse.
    Please come along and support our local talent.

  • Congratulations to clubman Natal O'Grady for his recent double appointment as Limerick Intermediate Hurling manager and as a selector with the Limerick Under 21 hurling team.

  • Patrickswell GAA Club are delighted to announce that Brian Lohan will manage the senior hurlers in the 2012 season. Brian brings a wealth of experience to the role after many successful years with the Clare Hurling Team. We wish him every success in the job. The club wants to thank Gary Kirby for his tireless efforts and the great improvements that have occurred under his tenure.

  • The Under 10 Parish League is being held on Sunday, 9th October at 12 noon in the GAA field.

  • Uachtarán Cumann Luthchleas Gael, Christy Cooney will officially launch the completion of Phase 1 of the Clubhouse Refurbishment Programme at 8pm at the clubhouse next Friday,  23rd September.
    Light refreshments will be served. All club members are welcome.

  • Congrats to Conor Murray who played his part in Ireland's historic victory over Australia in the Rugby World Cup.

  • Congratulations to our U-13 hurling and camogie teams who were both victorious in their respective county finals played Saturday, 3rd September.

  • Well done to our senior hurlers who defeated reigning champions Kilmallock in the County Quarter final on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-17 with a great comeback in the final minutes.
    The Well now progress to a county semi-final against Na Piarsaigh.

  • Congratulations to Mark Carmody and Seán O'Brien, who were part of the Limerick side that beat Cork in the epic Munster Under 21 Hurling final which Limerick won after extra time on a score line of 4-20 to 1-27.

  • You are invited to join Patrickswell GAA club for a social evening at the club’s "Twilight Evening at the Races" scheduled for Thursday 21st July. Music will be courtesy of Mad for Road.

  • Volunteers are urgently needed for bag packing in aid of the juvenile club on this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (14-16 July) in Tesco, Roxboro.

  • The Camogie Club have organised a collection of Old Clothes and Mobile Phones.  They will accept mobile phones, clothing, curtains, towels, soft toys, shoes, handbags and belts.  However, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets or duvets are not acceptable.  A home collection service is available by contacting Mary (086-3695155) or Gloria (086-3830668).  The Final Collection Date is Friday 8th July at 6pm in the Clubhouse.

  • The Cul camp is on from 4th to 8th July for boys and girls aged 6 – 13.  Anyone interested may contact Raymond Fitzgerald or their team coach.

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Patrickswell’s Set Dancers who were crowned All-Ireland champions in the Senior Scor final at Killarney on Saturday 9th April. The team members were John McDermott, Des Foley, David Enright, Michael Shinnors, Sarah Foley, Aedin Foley, Gloria O’Donnell and Paula Griffin. Muirne Bennis and Mary Shinnors are their mentors.   • The club's rich vein of form continues in the Limerick Development (Mackey) Draw as PJ O'Grady scooped the top prize of €18,000 in the April draw. Congratulations to PJ and to the promoter, Tommy Reidy.
