The victorious squad and mentors

The Juvenile and Camogie Clubs celebrated a “Double” success on Saturday, 3rd September, 2011.
Well done to Patrickswell’s girls, who won their Under 13 County Camogie Final. The girls overcame a very strong Ballyagran side in Croagh. Patrickswell competed for every ball from the first whistle, both in attack and in defence. Leah O’Carroll got the ‘Well off to a great start, with a fantastic goal. Ballyagran replied with two points to narrow the gap. However Niamh O’Keeffe then rattled the net from 30 yards out to stun Ballyagran. This was the first of Niamh's scores of the match. She claimed a hat-trick of goals and points to finish with a tally of 3-3. The final scoreline was 4-3 to 0-3. Each of the twenty players on the panel played a key role in this County Final, as did the three coaches on the sideline - Paul Foley, Gary Kirby and Liam O’Carroll. They were ably assisted by Denise O’Carroll.

The victorious panel was Sarah Gillane, Aisling Leahy, Doireann Foley, Ciara Barry, Becky Kelly, Jane Kirby (captain), Patrice Lynch, Emer Foley, Emma Barry, Shauna Nally, Niamh O’Keefee, Orla Harty, Megan O’Neill, Leah O’Carroll, Patricia Bennis, Emer O’Keeffe, Amy Buston, Chloe Caulfield, Aisling O’Gorman and Ciara O’Brien.
